Deborah Busemeyer
Deborah Busemeyer has worked for newspapers in Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico, always gravitating toward challenging subjects and stories that give a voice to the vulnerable. She has won numerous local and national reporting awards, including several from the Associated Press for feature and column writing. She has been a journalism fellow at the University of Maryland and now lives with her husband, two children, and their goofy dog (a Basset hound/Dachshund mix) in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
