Will Callan is a freelance writer from San Francisco, now living in Oakland. He covers local news in both cities for Hoodline, and has worked as a teacher, an autonomous vehicle operator, and a lumber yard clerk. He enjoys watching Oscar nominated flicks with his two favorite food products in hand—Tim’s Cascade Style Potato Chips (Jalapeño) and Chocolate Ovaltine Drink Mix—and the biggest accomplishment of his young adulthood was completing a triathlon after shuddering through 45 minutes of hypothermia.
