Jessica Brandi Lifland

Jessica B. Lifland is a San Francisco-based freelance photographer and Photojournalism instructor. Her work has appeared nationally and internationally in publications such as USA Today, The London Times, The New York Times, The Toronto Star, Newsweek, Time, and Le Monde. Jessica is an instructor of photojournalism at the City College of San Francisco, and has taught photography at the University of Southern Indiana and San Francisco State University. She has won numerous awards for her photojournalism, and participates in exhibits around the country. And her work has taken her all over the U.S. and across the world, including West Africa, the Middle East, Kosovo, Burma, Haiti and South America. For the past 15 years Jessica has been documenting the lives of cowboy poets, and hopes to turn her project into a book.
