Romain Blanquart
Romain Blanquart (b. 1973, France) is a visual journalist living in Detroit, Michigan. He studied photography at the Rochester Institute of Technology and for the last 13 years has been a staff photographer at The Detroit Free Press. He is currently working on The Tyranny of Hope, a long-term essay that explores life at the intersection of hope and hopelessness.
