Pheralyn Dove

Pheralyn Dove is a poet, author, and visual artist who lives her life in a state of perpetual gratitude. Pheralyn’s writing has taken her from her beloved hometown in Philadelphia, PA, to far-flung places such as Bahia, Paris, and Accra. As a visual artist, Pheralyn experiments in mixed media, photography, and abstract expressionism. Her work was included in “Generations 7 — Reflections on the Isms”, curated by Dindga McCannon at Rush Arts Gallery Philadelphia. “Color in Motion”, her book of poetry, includes a foreword by legendary jazz drummer Max Roach.
