Laura Fraser
Laura Fraser is an author and journalist whose books include the memoirs All Over the Map, The Risotto Guru, and An Italian Affair, which was a New York Times bestseller. She spent a summer in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, when she was ten years old, and developed a life-long love of languages, travel, and Mexican crafts. In 2008, she built a small house near the artisan market in that town, and divides her time between Mexico and San Francisco. She is a long-time member of the San Francisco Writers’ Grotto and is the editorial director and cofounder of Shebooks.net.
