Laura Fraser
Laura Fraser is an author and journalist whose books include the memoirs All Over the Map, The Risotto Guru, and An Italian Affair, which was a New York Times bestseller. She spent a summer in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, when she was 10 years old, and developed a life-long love of languages, travel, and Mexican crafts. In 2008, she built a small house near the artisan market in that town, and divides her time between Mexico and San Francisco.
