Hugo Kohl makes his vintage-style jewelry in six different precious metals, from silver to gold and platinum, and from 14 karat to 18 karat levels of metal quality.
Society of North American Goldsmiths (SNAG) is an international nonprofit organization that serves as the primary organization of jewelers and metal artists in North America. It advances jewelry and metalsmithing by inspiring creativity, encouraging education, and fostering community through the publication of Metalsmith magazine, an annual conference, SNAGnews newsletter, SNAGnet listserv, and their website. Members include independent studio artists, teachers, students, gallerists, collectors, curators, and writers.
The Providence Jewelry Museum in Cranston, Rhode Island is dedicated to preserving the history of American Jewelry. President Peter DiCristofaro curates the museum’s collection and archives encompassing works from America’s jeweled past, including both famous designers and unknown artisans.
American Jewelry Design Council is a non-profit educational corporation, which recognizes and promotes the appreciation of original jewelry design as art.
