Michael Oppenheim

Michael Oppenheim is a professional freelance photographer based in Asheville, N.C. He has shot photos for a variety of commercial and editorial clients such as New Belgium Brewing, Community Foundation of Western North Carolina, Deltec Homes, Sega Gameworks, WNC Magazine, Platt Architecture, WSM Craft, The Nature Conservancy, and Black Mountain College + Museum. His project with The Nature Conservancy, “A Year in the Life of a Mountain Bog,” led to a photo exhibit at The North Carolina Arboretum. He has contributed to two publications (Active Archive by Martha McDonald and Between Form and Content: Perspectives on Jacob Lawrence), and published two coffee table books on Asheville architecture (Look Up Asheville: I & II). photo by Cole McMahon
