Judith D. Schwartz

Judith D. Schwartz is the author, most recently, of “The Reindeer Chronicles and Other Inspiring Stories of Working with Nature to Heal the Earth.” Her other books include “Water In Plain Sight” and “Cows Save the Planet,” which Elizabeth Kolbert of The New Yorker called “a surprising, informative, and ultimately hopeful book.” Schwartz is a graduate of the Columbia Journalism School and Brown University, speaks regularly about soil’s links to environmental health, and lives in Vermont with her husband, Tony Eprile, an author and photographer.
