Denise Moss has loved to write since she was a child. Her first publication, at age 9, was a short story in the San Mateo Times in California. She bounced around California, Montana, and Idaho before settling in Carbondale, Colorado. An English professor at Colorado Mountain College, she teaches credit and continuing education courses, including research, memoir, and Native American Literature. Denise enjoys contributing to writing projects for science and art nonprofits. Her passion for creating extends to the ceramic arts, focusing on what the clay is asking of her.
