Cathryn Jakobson Ramin

Cathryn Jakobson Ramin is an investigative journalist who spent most of the last 15 years writing two best-selling books about healthcare—”Crooked” and “Carved in Sand”. These days, she prefers to write about travel, culture, art, craft, and fascinating people. She divides her time between Northern California and New York City. In addition to exploring India, in recent years she has visited Peru, Australia, New Zealand, and Morocco. She’s currently at work on a novel, and planning future trips to the Amazon, Chile, and Africa.
