Anna Richards

Anna Richards moved to France from the U.K. in 2021, drawn by a love of mountains, pungent cheese, and long lunch breaks. Since then, she’s put down roots, adopting two French-speaking dogs and writing full-time about her new home. Her words on France have won multiple awards, and she regularly writes for National Geographic, Lonely Planet, and The Telegraph. She’s contributed to dozens of guidebooks on France and is the author of “Paddling France” (Bradt Travel Guides, 2024).
