Andrew Feight is a photographer and historian living in Portsmouth, Ohio, where he directs the Center for Public History at Shawnee State University. Andrew is the founder and developer of the Scioto Historical Project, an educational mobile app for exploring the history of Portsmouth and the surrounding Appalachian region. He studied photography at the University of Kentucky while completing his Ph.D. in American history. Andrew’s photographic work has appeared in the Kentucky Kernel, the Portsmouth Free Press, the Portsmouth Daily Times, Looking at Appalachia, and Forbidden Twin: An Appalachian Miscellany.
